LexPark Ignores Community Concerns and Petitions at Public MeetinG

On December 22, LexPark, the private parking authority in Lexington, held a town hall meeting to address concerns from the community regarding proposed changes to parking policies. The proposed changes, which include a 50% increase in the time enforced for metered parking and higher hourly rates, have caused widespread concern and frustration among local business owners and community members.

In addition to the concerns about the impact on business operations, there have also been questions raised about the transparency of the decision-making process and the lack of information provided by LexPark. Despite the numerous concerns raised by the community, it seems that LexPark, a private entity subject to very little oversight by the local government, has no motivation to listen or address these issues.

We encourage everyone to make their voices heard by contacting LexPark via email, social media, or phone to express their concerns and demand accountability. Email: info@lexpark.org, Twitter: @LexParkingAuth, Instagram: @lexpark_, Phone: 859-231-7275.
